Done: Owl

Alright... This owl was supposed to be brown. It turned a very pale wine color instead. Still like it. Oh look at the new sig tag for smaller projects! Thank you to Brigitte Read for the pattern in her book... Although the pattern for the feet is missing in the book...

Edinburgh Festival: Tattoo Saturday Edition

Yep that is hundreds of people standing in the rain to see bagpipers. I get that for free every day.

WIP: Owl -- Dyed

I showed you a piece with my stitch markers on it. This is it but now dyed.... The dye didn't quite umm keep its color.

Weird coloring. Just goes to show you can never know!

Poor Beginnings

I messed up the bag I have been making 3 times. This is the 1st attempt.

WIP: Spinning Lessons -- Single

This is a single, before being plied and it is on a homemade nostepinne.

Wrapped single.

WIP: Bag and Scarf of Doom

I have now merged the scarf of doom with the bottom of the bag attempt 3 and blocked it so it lays flat.

Merging of the scarf of doom with a strange trim of green
Detail of the join.

Stitch Markers and Detail Stuffing Tool

I got these lovely stitch markers and detail stuffing tool from PlanetJune.com. I love it! *oh that is my new project I will be revealing in the next few posts when it is dry*

WORKS GREAT!

Edinburgh Festival: Tattoo

I live right above the place where the tattoo line up (or queue) happens each night.
Soo many people and the words, "Tattoo Program" and "Ladies and Gentlemen, go to your left down Johnson's Terrace to the end of the queue. There is one queue for all tickets," constantly being shouted for about 2 hours each night.

Done: Green Basket/flower pot cover

This may become a cover for a flower pot (inspired by my mom). It was attempt 2 for my bag.

Love this little jewel.

WIP: Spinning Lessons -- Skeins

Here is a new installment of my skeins of yarn! Undyed for now.

My two new skeins, one is small because it broke while trying to wrap it into a ball.
