This project is turning out better then I could have expected and goes fairly quickly. I have many things in the air right now because of all the crafts I was doing for Christmas, so hopefully I can finish some off and work on this one on the plane ride back to scotland in January!

WIP: Gossamer Lace Scarf
I am working with my Belle Epoque Yarn making PlanetJune's Gossamer Lace Wrap. I am only doing one repeat to make it a smaller scarf.
The pattern allows the colors of this yarn to really be displayed.

Third, I will be making wrist warmers for my mother and a bear for a friend out of this yarn:
Fourth, I will be making something special with this yarn (HINT: I use a french knitting doll):
Lastly, I have this new beautiful yarn that I will use with the yarn above in a project yet to be determined:

WIP: Wall Organizer
This is why I do WIPs. I change my mind so many times that I tend to forget my original ideas. I have scrapped (or frogged) my first idea. I didn't even start on my second idea, but got inspiration from it. I was going to do do a nice pocket organizer but I didn't like the stitches used in it. So, what did I do? I went back to my Amigurumi background and made a BIG in the round pouch with a hanging idea from the pocket organizer. I plan on making more pouches and putting them together. Good thing about this design is it is expandable. Then I will do a crochet hook and knitting needle organizer with an add-on accessory organizer. Lastly I will do a panel for my spinning stuff. This will use up a lot of yarn I admit. But eh, it is a growing project. That is also what Pound Saver is for ;-).

Done: Owl
Alright... This owl was supposed to be brown. It turned a very pale wine color instead. Still like it. Oh look at the new sig tag for smaller projects! Thank you to Brigitte Read for the pattern in her book... Although the pattern for the feet is missing in the book...

Done: Lil' Jelly-cutie!
This is from a pattern in the CrochetMe! Catalogue. I changed it a bit and I made this cutie!! She is very very small *about the diameter of a quarter (US) or 10p coin (UK)*

My signature is scrunched but I will work on making it smaller for these kinds of things!

I got my needles in and now have added a lovely heart to the bear so it is now done!

WIP? Valentine Bear!
I think I may have finished the bear for now, until I get my tapestry needles in the mail. I plan on adding a heart to the front.

That face took 4 tries to get right! Those safety eyes... man they are hard to get the washer to fit over them.
![]() |
You can see it sits up by itself which is really cool. and I didn't do so badly on the arms.

I have no idea what that is on the bum, but I like to think of it as an offset tail.

WIP: Valentine Bear!
I have been working hard on my Valentine Bear. Here is the rest of the process before it is done.
This is the body with all its rows!
This is the weird shape of the body.
This is the arm being crocheted and showing off my official stitch marker!
Here is me trying to sew up the head and body. I only had a yarn needle at this point. I was happy to get in my stuffing from the internet.
My first real go at seaming...
