Done: Mesh Scarf

After I had my professional tester make sure the scarf was comfy....

How our animals know how to pose!
 I finished it off:

I really like the color changes in it.
It is just a basic double crochet (treble in the UK) mesh scarf.

WIP: Mesh Sea Scarf

I love the colour way of my Manos yarn for this scarf. I am doing a simple dc (tr for those in the UK) scarf.

Doesn't that just remind you of the sea?

PS -- Stroganoff for dinner. Only 10 WW points! Go home cooking!

Kitty 1: Ring in the New Year

Time to admit how much I weigh (in kg) to the internet world. My weight loss for 5% is 108kg, for 10% it is 105kg. My first Weight Watcher's goal is 106kg then 100kg and we shall see from there what I feel is my next weight goal.

I survived my Mexican New Year and I am not too ashamed of how it turned out. I did not break the bank. I get soo many points I have trouble eating enough. That sounds strange for a diet doesn't it? Well that's because WWs is not a diet, it isn't a fad, nor is it a quick fix. As you go down in weight your points you get go down as well (not by very much I must say). Anyways, let's see the kitty!

Isn't that just the cutest thing ever?! Look at that cute crocheted hat.
Happy New Years!

Sock Pixie Tartan Roving!

I have been waiting for this roving, but she had some family issues which I was perfectly happy to allow the delay of the shipping. BUT, it is now in my itching fingers!! Thank you SockPixie!!

~Weekend Fun~

So on top of all of the stuff coming up this week I have a few more projects in the works. If you are a person I have promised a gift to PLEASE DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER. For all you other people who nicely read my blog, enjoy the rest of this post!

First is that little alpaca I have been working on:
Fuzzy Wuzzy was an Alpaca?

Second, another scarf but made for my friend for christmas:
Now I am not a fan of pink but I LOVE this cotton candy looking skein!

Third, I will be making wrist warmers for my mother and a bear for a friend out of this yarn:
I have TWO of these! So Beautiful!

Fourth, I will be making something special with this yarn (HINT: I use a french knitting doll):
I hope this will make a beautiful addition to the piece I have in mind for it!

Lastly, I have this new beautiful yarn that I will use with the yarn above in a project yet to be determined:
So beautiful! Yes I do realize they look different, they do so in person too.

I love the name: Corryvreckan Blue

I will doing an inventory of all my hooks, needles, and fun things. I will take off my stash yarn since it is on my ravelry page and in my Flickr photos!

Done: Fat Froggie (aka Messed Up Frog)

So this frog came out HILARIOUS! I can't stop laughing at him, I couldn't finish the feet like the pattern and so I modified them to be short and stubby. Then I added little toes on them and when I placed them on the abnormally well stuffed body I burst out laughing. I placed them (after the 4th try) like he was sitting. I sewed everything up and added my new signature on his bum. And there he was: My big beautiful fat froggie! Enjoy!

Showing that unique is always fun!

Very interesting profile for this one.

You can see my new signature and his roundness.
